Domaine Pascal Prunier-Bonheur

What Pascal Prunier manages to produce from a diverse collection of relatively modest appellations, whether red or white, is absolutely spectacular. Pascal, who has the most endearing and incredibly broad smile, is the 5th generation of a family of winegrowers. He decided to start his own estate with his wife, Christine Bonheur, in 1983, with barely 3 rented hectares of vines. Today the estate includes 8 hectares of vines, scattered throughout the Côte de Beaune, from Saint Romain to Beaune. The production is in equal parts of white wine and red wine and the cellars are located on the road between Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. The whites radiate energy and the reds have a rather extraordinary calming effect and a great purity.
