CHÂTEAU COUTET

With a history of over 400 years, the vineyard of Chateau Coutet is well renowned for its know-how. This 16.5 hectare property resembles a family hamlet directly in the heart of Saint-Emilion. Today, Chateau Coutet is run by Alain, Adrien and Matthieu Beaulieu. Their wines are the result of meticulous selection by the estate over many centuries. The “Chateau Coutet” is produced without the use of a tractor and almost without electricity: the vineyard is worked entirely by hand and with the assistance of a draft horse, the grapes are harvested completely by hand and are then sorted manually, berry by berry.
