Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay

Origin : Villages of Vinzelles, Chaintré, Chânes, Laizé & Milly Lamartine

 Soil : Sedimentary rocks from the Cretaceous period, clay-limestone type

Vinification

Vinified from purchased grapes, the bunches are pressed by pneumatic press, the juices are put in static settling at low temperature during 24 hours. The clear juices are then transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation under temperature control.

After fermentation, the wines are matured on fine lees in stainless steel tanks until spring and then bottled to preserve the freshness.

Tasting notes

Expression of Chardonnay on limestone soil, with aromas of fruits (pear), white flowers, a fresh body with nice tension and a round and acidulous final.
